Pumpkin bars! Such a great tasting and simple treat. They are perfect for the fall season. When all things pumpkin spice come out of hibernation.
Pumpkin Bars

1 – 15 oz. can 100% pure pumpkin (not pie filling)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 – 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 – 18.5 oz yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin, eggs, sugars, pumpkin pie spice, and evaporated milk; mix well.
- Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over batter in the pan; drizzle melted butter evenly over the top. Sprinkle with pecans.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
